Offender Tracking Information System (OTIS)
In 2008, the Michigan Legislature permitted removal of offender's information from OTIS after three years had elapsed from the discharge date. If an offender resumes supervision with the MDOC, all public records will be available on the website until three years has again elapsed from the discharge date of the most recent MDOC jurisdiction or supervision term.

Washtenaw County Jail incarcerated receive high school diplomas and GEDs under new program WEMU-FM
Nine incarcerated men at the Washtenaw County Jail now have high school diplomas or GED’s. They are the first graduates through a program with the Sheriff’s Office and the Washtenaw Intermediate School District. The nine young men walked single file into the jail gymnasium as friends and family celebrated their accomplishment.
